UPDATED FULL CLOSURES:

1. 6th St. in Kemah will be fully closed to east and west traffic at the intersection of SH146 continuously from 7:00 AM on 6/21/2023 to 3:00 PM on 6/30/2023.

   1. Detour for SH146 southbound traffic to turn onto 6th St.: Turn right onto FM-2094, turn right at Carolyn St., and take the 3rd St U-turn to access 6th St. via Texas Ave.

   2. Detour for 6th St. westbound traffic to SH146 southbound: Turn right onto the northbound frontage road (NBFR), continue north towards NASA and take the NASA u-turn onto the southbound frontage road (SBFR).

   3. Detour for SH146 northbound traffic to 6th St.: No change

   4. Detour for 6th St. westbound traffic to SH146 northbound: No change

2. FM518 will be fully closed to east and west traffic at the intersection of SH146 continuously from 7:00 AM on 6/22/2023 to 3:00 PM on 7/7/2023.

   1. Detour for SH146 northbound traffic to FM518: Continue north through the intersection, turn left onto FM2094 and make a U-turn onto the SBFR, continue south and turn right onto FM518.

   2. Detour for FM518 eastbound traffic to SH146 northbound: Turn right onto the SBFR, turn left onto Bel Rd., and turn left onto the NBFR.

   3. Detour for SH146 southbound traffic to FM518: No change

   4. Detour for FM518 eastbound traffic to SH146 southbound: No change.

NB Lane Closure

LANE CLOSURE:

1. The inside (left) lane on SH146 NBFR from Towers Blvd to Red Bluff Rd will be closed from 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM on 6/19/23. This closure is to pour the entrance ramp.

SB Lane Closure

UPDATED LANE CLOSURES:

1.  The outside (right) lane on SH146 SBFR from Nasa Rd 1 to the Galveston County Line will be closed from 1:00 AM to 12:00 PM on 6/15/23. This closure is to pour the bridge deck.

These closures are subject to change if needed due to weather.

NB Traffic Shift at Solomon

Traffic will be switched onto the new NBFR starting at Solomon and continuing across the bridge beginning Tuesday, 6/6/23 at 6:00 PM weather permitting. The traffic switch will reduce traffic to one lane of northbound travel, and the one land of northbound travel is expected to stay until September 2023.

Repsdorph & E. Meyer Intersection Closure

Repsdorph and E. Meyer in Seabrook will be fully closed to east and west traffic at the intersection of SH146 daily from 9:00 am on 3/17/23 to 3:00 pm.  This closure is to install the traffic signal pole at the NBFR north of Repsdorph across from McDonald’s. 2 off-duty police officers are anticipated to be used during these closures.

1. Detour for Repsdorph eastbound traffic to go north on SH 146 and to access E. Meyer: Turn right onto southbound SH 146, make a U-turn at NASA 1, and travel north on SH 146 or to access E. Meyer.

2. Detour for E. Meyer westbound traffic to go south on SH 146 and to access Repsdorph: Take a right onto northbound SH 146, make a U-turn at Red Bluff to begin traveling southbound on SH 146, or access Repsdorph.

3. Detour for SH 146 southbound traffic to E. Meyer: Head south on SH 146, take a left onto Red Bluff, take a right onto Old SH 146, take a left onto Red Bluff, take a right onto Todville Rd, then travel south to E. Meyer.

4. Detour for SH 146 northbound traffic to Repsdorph: Travel north on SH 146, make a U-turn at Red Bluff to begin traveling southbound on SH 146, and take a right on Repsdorph.

Repsdorph & E. Meyer Intersection Closure

Repsdorph and E. Meyer in Seabrook will be fully closed to east and west traffic at the intersection of SH146daily from 9:00 am on 3/7/23 to 3:00 pm Tuesday, 3/8/23.  This closure is to install the traffic signal pole at the NBFR north of Repsdorph across from McDonald’s. 2 off-duty police officers are anticipated to be used during these closures.

1. Detour for Repsdorph eastbound traffic to go north on SH 146 and to access E. Meyer: Turn right onto southbound SH 146, make a U-turn at NASA 1, and travel north on SH 146 or to access E. Meyer.

   1. Detour for SH 146 northbound traffic to 8th St: Head north on SH146 NBFR, turn right onto 9th St, turn left onto Harris Ave, and turn left or right onto 8th St.

   2. Detour for SH 146 southbound traffic to 8th St:  Head south on SH146 SBFR, turn left onto 6th St, turn right onto Kipp Ave, and turn right onto 8th St. 

   3. Detour for 8th St traffic to NBFR: Head east onto 8th St, turn left onto Kipp Ave, turn left onto 7th St, and turn right onto SH146 NBFR.

   1. Detour for Repsdorph eastbound traffic to go north on SH 146 and to access E. Meyer: Turn right onto southbound SH 146, make a U-turn at NASA 1, and travel north on SH 146 or to access E. Meyer.

   1. Detour for SH 146 northbound traffic to 10th St: Head north on SH146 NBFR, turn right onto 9th St, turn right onto Kipp Ave, and turn right onto 10th St.

   2. Detour for SH 146 southbound traffic to 10th St:  Head south on SH146 SBFR, turn left onto Bel Rd and travel through the SH146 intersection, turn left onto Kipp Ave, and turn left onto 10th St. 

   3. Detour for 10th St traffic to NBFR: Head east onto 10th St, turn left onto Kipp Ave, turn left onto 9th St, and turn right onto SH146 NBFR.

   4. Detour for 10th St traffic to SBFR: Head east onto 10th St, turn left onto Kipp Ave, turn left onto 6th St, and turn left onto SH146 SBFR.

   1. Detour for SH 146 northbound traffic to 10th St: Head north on SH146 NBFR, turn right onto 9th St, turn right onto Kipp Ave, and turn right onto 10th St.

   2. Detour for SH 146 southbound traffic to 10th St:  Head south on SH146 SBFR, turn left onto Bel Rd and travel through the SH146 intersection, turn left onto Kipp Ave, and turn left onto 10th St.

1. The outside (right) lane on SH146 SBFR from 500’ N. of Kemah Exit to 500’ S. of Kemah Exit from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on 2/13/23. This closure is to repair the CCA on the SBFR. No off-duty police officers are anticipated to be used during these closures.

UPDATED FULL CLOSURES:

1. Repsdorph and E. Meyer in Seabrook will be fully closed to west traffic at the intersection of SH146 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Monday, 2/13/23.  This closure is to install CTMS under the Repsdorph Overpass. One off-duty police officer is anticipated to be used during this closure.

1. Detour for E. Meyer westbound traffic to go south on SH 146 and to access Repsdorph: Take a right onto northbound SH 146, make a U-turn at Red Bluff to begin traveling southbound on SH 146, or access Repsdorph.

2. Detour for SH 146 northbound traffic to Repsdorph: Travel north on SH 146, make a U-turn at Red Bluff to begin traveling southbound on SH 146, and take a right on Repsdorph.

2. Repsdorph and E. Meyer in Seabrook will be fully closed to east traffic at the intersection of SH146 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, 2/16/23.  This closure is to install CTMS under the Repsdorph Overpass. One off-duty police officer is anticipated to be used during this closure.

1.  The outside (right) lane on SH146 SBFR from the south end of the arterial bridge (Abutment 41) to FM 2094 nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM on 1/30/23 to 2/3/23. This closure is to paint the bridge structure. No off-duty police officers are anticipated to be used during these closures.

UPDATED FULL CLOSURES:

1. Total closure of Cien Rd at SH146 continuously from 7:00 AM on 1/30/23 to 7:00 AM on 2/3/23. This closure is to fast-track the right side of Cien Rd intersection. No off-duty police officers are anticipated to be used during these closures.

1. Detour for SH 146 northbound traffic to Cien Rd: Head north on SH146 NBFR, turn right onto Bel Rd, turn right onto Kipp Ave, and turn right onto Cien Rd.

2. Detour for SH 146 southbound traffic to Cien Rd:  Head south on SH146 SBFR, turn left onto Bel Rd, turn right onto Kipp Ave, and turn right onto Cien Rd. 

3. Detour for Cien Rd traffic to NBFR: Head east onto Cien Rd, turn left onto Kipp Ave, turn left onto Bel Rd, and turn right onto SH146 NBFR.
