TxDOT Update April 30

This post is to notify you of new lane closures for the SH146 project: 

FULL CLOSURES: 

  1. *UPDATE – CLOSURE EXTENDED* El Mar Lane in Seabrook is fully closed at SH146 and the closure will now extend through Thursday 5/6/21 instead of 5/1/21 because the contractor is not able to complete the work within the initial timeframe. This closure is necessary to install a storm sewer line in the center of the street and to pave the intersection with fast-track concrete paving. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure, but officers will be available if needed.

    1. Capri Lane and El Mar Lane will not be closed at the same time.

    2. The detour will be to use Capri Lane and Bahama Drive to get around the closure.

 

LANE CLOSURES: 

  1. There will be alternating lane closures in both directions of Repsdorph Road / E Meyer Avenue in Seabrook 9:00am to 3:00pm daily from 5/3/21 to 5/8/21. This closure is to construct a new force main. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.

     

  2. The outside (right) westbound lane of Main Street will be closed at SH146 in Seabrook 9:00am to 3:00pm daily from 4/30/21 to 5/1/21 and from 5/3/21 to 5/8/21. This closure is for drainage construction. Construction flaggers will allow for two-way traffic during the closure. One off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.

     

  3. There will be alternating lane closures in both directions of Marvin Circle in Seabrook beginning 5:00am 5/4/21 and continuing through midnight 5/11/21 (except Sundays). This closure is to reconstruct the intersection using fast-track concrete paving. Access to and from Marvin Circle will be maintained throughout this time period. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.

     

  4. The outside (right) northbound lane on SH146 will be closed between NASA Road 1 and Red Bluff Road in Seabrook9:00am to 3:00pm daily from 5/3/21 to 5/8/21. This closure is for access to paving work. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure. 

These closures are subject to change if needed due to weather.
