The City of Kemah will be offering free event parking with shuttle service to and from the Kemah Crawfish Festival on Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 21.
Motorists can expect traffic congestion around Waterfront on Friday, April 19. Seabrook Police will have an additional seven officers on duty to assist with traffic control.
Motorists can expect increased traffic in and around the Seabrook Waterfront District in addition to traffic congestion around the Kemah Boardwalk on Good Friday and throughout the Easter weekend. Due to the anticipated traffic volume, the Seabrook and Kemah Police Departments will increase patrol. Seabrook will have an additional seven officers on duty on Friday, April 19, 2019; primarily assisting with traffic control in and around the Seabrook Waterfront District.
Demolition has started for the Waffle House, previously located at 2102 Seabrook Circle. Per TXDOT, demolition should be completed within two weeks.
We are happy to announce that the new McDonald’s located at 2800 Bayport Blvd. is almost complete. Due to the State Highway 146 expansion, McDonald’s chose to relocate within Seabrook and they picked the perfect location.
The north (inbound) channel, directly under the Clear Creek Channel Bridge (Seabrook/Kemah Bridge), will be completely closed beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2019. This closure will be in place continuously for approximately one month.
The southbound outside lane at NASA Parkway will be closed during the day from April 10 through April 13 and the southbound outside lane on the Seabrook/Kemah Bridge will be closed at night, Sunday through Thursday beginning April 14 for approximately four weeks.
Motorists can expect lane closures March 30 through April 3. Access underneath the bridge in Seabrook will be closed April 5 and then again April 8 through the 10 during the day.
The northbound outside lane on the SH 146 Clear Channel Bridge between 10th Street/Shipyard Drive in Seabrook and 3rd Street in Kemah will be closed during the day shifts of March 27, 28 and 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.
