CVS and AutoZone are both relocating to the Seabrook Town Center at Repsdorph Circle. CVS has announced that they will start moving into their new location on April 21 and are planning to be open to the public by May 13. More updates on AutoZone coming soon.
Ryan's Cleaners Relocates
Due to the SH146 expansion, Ryan’s Dry Cleaners has officially moved. They have been at their new location for about a month now, on the far north side of town in the Seabrook Plaza at 5735 Bayport.
Tookie’s Burgers Closing
Long time favorite and local Seabrook restaurant, Tookie’s Burgers, recently announced they will be closing in Seabrook on Sunday, January 28 at 10pm due to the Highway 146 expansion. Tookie’s Burgers has served the Seabrook community since 1975 and we will miss them dearly! If you haven’t already, stop by Tookie’s Burgers in Seabrook one last time this weekend and wish them well on their new business venture!
Laredo’s Tex-Mex Closed
Laredo’s Tex-Mex Café on SH146 is closed until further notice. Laredo’s has been in Seabrook since 1969 and has served the Seabrook community with delicious homemade Mexican and Tex-Mex family recipes. They will surely be missed! Seabrook City Staff is working with the Owner about relocation options within the community. More details about Laredo’s will be announced when it is made available.
Benjamin’s Automotive Relocating
Benjamin’s Automotive currently located at 1425 Bayport Blvd. will be relocating to a new location at 2830 E. NASA Pkwy. formerly Bay Area Transmission. They plan on being at their new location by the end of the year!
Neptune Subs to Close
Longtime Seabrook business owner, Vinny Schillaci, announced that Neptune Subs will close business on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Neptune Subs has been in Seabrook for over 39 years and will be sorely missed! They will also be hosting a farewell party on Sunday, December 3rd inviting the public to come and bid adieu to Vinny and his team!
New Construction on Repsdorph Circle
We are pleased to announce that construction has started for the new Autozone and CVS Pharmacy at the Seabrook Town Center, located around Repsdorph Circle. Both are expected to be open by the first quarter of 2018! Stay tuned for more details.
Wells Fargo on SH 146 to Close January 2018
The Wells Fargo Seabrook branch located at 1600 Highway 146 just announced they will close for business on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. We invite the community to bank at the NASA Parkway branch located nearby at 2929 NASA Parkway in Seabrook. The NASA Parkway branch and drive-up are open Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Neptune Subs to Close Later this Year
Longtime Seabrook business owner, Vinny Schillaci, has decided to close Neptune Subs later this year. This one of a kind deli has been a Seabrook landmark for years and we are very sad to see it close. Neptune Subs may be most known for their “Bald Mondays” that are held the first Monday of every month. According to Vinny “the more you shine the cheaper you dine!”
Autozone & CVS plan to relocate to Seabrook Town Center
We are pleased to announce that both Autozone and CVS are planning to relocate to the new Seabrook Town Center that will be located around the Repsdorph Traffic Circle. Construction on Autozone will begin later this year. More details about when the stores will relocate and open will be announced when it is made available.
